Looking for Volunteers

We have links to the national volunteering database do-it.org. This means that we can upload your opportunities if you would like us to. We also meet with volunteers face-to-face, so we can promote your organisation to potential volunteers. We produce a 'Latest Vacancies' flyer, sent out to potential volunteers.

To register your volunteering opportunities, please complete the Organisation Registration Form (if you are not already registered with us) along with an Opportunity Registration Form. This form provides us with details of the person who is ultimately responsible for volunteering within your organisation. This person will act as our main link. You can have additional contacts listed for different opportunities but only the person listed on the Organisation Registration form will receive the main correspondence.

This form also provides us with details about your organisation that are uploaded (upon your request) to the National Volunteering Database. These are:

- the name of the organisation

- the pupose (or mission statement) of the organisation

- the activities of the organisation.

The information on the Opportunities Registration Form will be used by us to match volunteers for the opportunity. It is important that the information you provide is as accurate as possible. You should try to make the opportunity sound interesting, appealing and worthwhile since this will help us a great deal in attracting volunteers. We reserve the right to make changes to the information when it is entered into the database. Incomplete or poorly completed forms may be returned to you.

Due to the vast number of volunteering opportunities advertised on the National Volunteering Database it is important that your opportunity offers something special to potential volunteers. Time spent writing opportunities will pay off in the long run.

For each vacancy you must fill in a separate Opportunity Registration Form. Please avoid putting details of more than one vacancy on the same form.
